Digital Matte Painting Task
Comp 1
Comp 2
From the beginning i needed to complete this test by compositing images together to create this one image. I dragged in the images into photoshop and i was asked to manipulate the images into a image. This is what i came up with.

These are the images that i collected from google and pinterest . which then i dragged all the images into photoshop. Then from photoshop i used the pen tool to cut around the areas that im using to composite with oth images. Then i masked the image and gathered all images together into one piece of image. which then i filter it to make it look more realistic as it was there in the real world. From Scene 2, and 3 was made in the same method as i did from the first scene. These are the result for all scenes.

Afterwards i went on after effects to add more effects and some lights and blur and some focus points into the scene. Which turned out good and this is the results below.

Re UVing the Car
Maya To Substance Painter
From here i decided to smoothen each part of the car by using the smooth tool in the mesh menu in Maya and then i broke down the lamborghini car that i modeled and re-UV it so i can take it to substance painter. Keep in mind i'm new to substance painter and i'm going to try what i can do in there for the textures for my asset. I'm also going to do the same with all the other assets. Afterwards i'm going to go on unreal engine to build the environment.
Final Result (Substance Painter)
Imported in Unreal Engine 4
From here i imported all the textures from substance painter to unreal engine and assigned them to the car model that i placed in the viewport scene.
Re-created NYC Buildings (Maya)
From here i did the same thing. Brang previous work from the first semester of the NYC Buildings and refurbushed it, UV mapped it and then created new buildings and then went on unreal engine and imported it into the scene and then started to build the entire environment with sll the assets i used from Maya.
Final Result (Environement Wireframe)
Imported in Unreal Engine 4
Afterwards i textured everything and used some props from megascans and some textures from megascans and then developed everything and it turn out like this for now.

Christmas!!!
Group Project Plan (Israel And Julia)
For the project I want to create 2 scenes of the Christmas campaign advert. So Julia came up with the village, so I agree we should have a scene for the village, and I want to set this at night with snow, Planning to have a Car (Lamborghini) which will be the product of the campaign, Some lights around the house. Also Julia came up with the snow globe and i came up with the car in the snow globe for the first scene which is perfect and for the 2nd scene showing the environment with the house and trees glowing and snow around.
All this was discussed with my partner of the group Julia which we had a similar idea for the project.

Progression 2 Table (Maya)
Substance Painter
From here i just used my previous model of the table that i made and decided to UV map it in maya and went on substance painter to add the textures. This table will be used for one of the scenes in the advert.
Progression 2 Snow Globe (Maya)
Substance Painter Globe
360 Spin (Maya Animation)
From here I finished modeling the snow globe from Maya and then I went on Substance Painter and added the textures. Then I went on Maya and animated the globe to spin in 360 but I animated it to turn slowly in the animation.
Progression 3 Declarations (Maya)
Product Shot
This is the shot for the scene 2 of the final product.
Christmas Ball Reference Images
Maya To Substance Painter
Christmas Ball Model
From here I modeled the Christmas ball and then exported it in substance painter and added textures but for the textures I used a references image to help me design the textures to match with the Christmas ball.
Arnold Render (Test)
Went back to Maya and assign the textures from substance painter to Arnold materials and did a test render, just to see the results and it turned out good.
nParticles (Snow)
Problem solving at the moment
From here I've used the nParticles and played around with the settings in the emitters which the result turned out like this, which then I placed the particles in the globe however when i wanted to render the scene the particles turned out black which I'm still trying to figure out what's the issue for this to happen.
Final Result For Now (Without the particles)
This is the final result for now without the snow particles. I placed a HDRI in the background for the skydome.
Juila Part Rendered Scene
My Part
From here I render pass everything in Maya with all the assets I modelled. Then I went on Premiere Pro and composited everything in and rendered them, then I went on after effects to add the effects and the bokeh for the background.
Final Result (Put Together)
From here i put together all the clips from juila and mine on after effects, then in after effects i added in the effects and filters and some small tweaks for the video clip which turned out like this.

Maya (Model Set Up)
Maya Set
For this I will be creating a car campaign advert that is related to a sports car and the environment being set in a airport hanger, this will be the inside and outside of it. First I modelled the hanger afterwards the imported the Lamborghini which i modelled the car in 2019 and then imported it into the scene then added materials. However keep in mind this is a preview of what it will look like in the end result.

Testing Light Passes Through Object
Testing Light Passes Through Car
From here i went on cinema 4D and tested some light passes because i needed to know how it will look like with a cube object instead of the car asset and then rendered it. Afterwards i created a new scene and then imported the car asset that i modelled in Maya.
Adding Materials and Camera Set Up (Scene)
Then from here i added the ground and added the materials for the ground and the car. Afterwards i set up the cameras for each shot that i will be using for post process.
